How It's Made

One small batch at a time.

Every jar is hand-piped in our Illinois kitchen — no machines, no factories, no hidden production runs. When a batch sells out, we make the next one.

We start with grass-fed beef tallow, render it ourselves, and whip it for hours until it reaches a soft, cloud-like texture you can feel the moment you touch it.

Then we infuse: vanilla beans, garden-grown calendula, manuka honey and lavender — depending on the balm. Nothing else. No fillers, no synthetics, no fragrance oils dressed up as plants.

Our Story

It started with a baby
and a question.

When my little one was diagnosed with eczema, I read everything I could find and tried every cream the doctors recommended. Nothing worked. Her skin stayed red, cracked, and in pain.

I stopped looking for a miracle in a bottle and started looking for the truth in nature. I tried whipped tallow. And suddenly, everything changed.

Today, every jar of The Amber Atelier is made by hand. Family owned and operated. Made for sensitive skin of all ages — because I started this for my own family first.
